Meet the Staff

Serving you at St. Luke's

The Rector
Father Patton Boyle, Priest-in-Charge at St. Luke's for the past four years, retired at the end of April 2009.

The Search Committee is working diligently through the process of finding a new rector for the church and hopes to complete its task by September 1.

In the interim, a very active and capable Vestry will oversee the daily operations. Changes to the Sunday services are noted on the "Church Office Hours and Services" page.

Rich Cronin, Senior Warden

Rich
Rich Cronin is a retired USN Officer and a retired Boeing Industrial Engineering Supervisor. He has lived in the Wenatchee area since 1997.

He has been a member of St. Luke's for over two years, the Financial Chairman on the Vestry for a year and was elected Senior Warden for 2008. His extensive managerial and financial oversight experience gained in the service and in industry, coupled with an inspiring Priest-in-Charge, and an active, enthusiastic Vestry and congregation, has helped St. Luke's to develop into a very successful parish relevant to its mission and its time.

Rich is a 70 year old widower with 4 grown children, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A recent convert to the Episcopal Church, he is exceedingly pleased with that move. It has sparked a revitalization in his Christian faith and desire to make St. Luke's the best parish it can possibly be.

Maggie Dewey, Secretary

maggie 005
Beginning March 1, 2009, Maggie Dewey stepped into the role of church secretary at St. Luke’s. Born in western New York State, just outside Rochester, she is a new arrival to the Wenatchee valley. A lifetime Episcopalian, she has a strong understanding of our liturgy, and has served actively in number of Vestry positions and on other church guilds. You can hear her in the choir on Sunday morning.

Prior to her move, Maggie taught English and then worked for 14 years in Human Resources at a hospital in northeastern New York where she eventually tailored her career to become a health care recruiter responsible for the hiring of nurses, aides and other skilled health care personnel.

As church secretary Maggie will prepare the service bulletins, manage the parish accounting, handle diocesan matters and generally attend to the daily details of running a church office so that St. Luke's remains a vibrant, open community.

Welcome, Maggie! We are delighted that you are not only part of our management team, but also an active parishioner.
